How To Make A Minecraft Server


 Before anything, you will need two things. A decent Desktop as a Java version of Minecraft are essential. Without either of these items, making your own Minecraft server will become a very trying matter to accomplish. Other versions like the pocket edition or Bedrock will not be able to assist you in the creation of a Minecraft server, so make sure you have the proper hardware and software to proceed to the next step.  Step 2



 Once you have confirmed that you have the necessary equipment, you will want to enter Minecraft.net for your next phase. On the site, you will want to download the Server.Jar file.

It is never out of date and is automatically updated with each new Minecraft version. To ensure that the file doesn't get deleted, but also so that it is available for the next step, make sure you create a folder.



Step 3



Then, you will be able to go into the folder that contains your program and then run main system. After accepting the agreement, you will need to enter the eula.txt.file and then change the line "eula=false" to "eula=true". Take the opportunity to save the changes before exiting and then run the main jar file to unlock the full documents and txt files that exist within it.  Editum Once you see these new documents and files it will mean that you now have your brand spanking new Minecraft server, but your work will not be finished yet.



Step 4



To properly launch your server you will need to create a file. First, reenter your folder. Next, create a new document. Name it something that signals it is a proper launch. Once this is done, you will then want to click on the document and enter the following code below:



 Java -Xms1024M -Xm1024 -jar server.jar pause



 With this coded command in your document, the server will be able to run at a higher efficiency by allowing you to assist the RAM with better memory and gigabyte management.



 Also a quick note, all files that you make in this folder, remember to tag on ".bat" at the end of the names for your files.



To verify that the steps you have taken are correct, test your start_server button. If you followed the correct instructions, your new server will launch. If not, please take note and make sure you have the correct file names.



Step 5



The last step you'll take is the familiar one you use every time you create new worlds in your base Minecraft game. Go to your server properties file and you will see a list of options for the world of your Minecraft game that you can change with impunity.



This may include difficulty, maximum players, game mode and even the name for your world. This section is for the type world you wish to create when you start your server. So take some time to consider what kind of environment it would be.



Step 6



You will need to start your server before you can move on to the next step. Next, you will need to run Minecraft so you can access the multiplayer tab. You will need to know your IP address so that other players can access your unique server. After that, you should not have any problems connecting to your server. Then you can enjoy the fruits your labor through your customized server.
